The Doctoral Programme is designed for advanced scholars committed to producing original and publishable biblical research. Students will contribute new insights into biblical theology, Christian thought, and ministry practice in their various disciplines.
This is the highest level of academic achievement at CIBREST — producing scholars who stand at the forefront of Scripture-governed research and theological inquiry globally.
Doctoral students are expected to not only produce outstanding research but also mentor Master's students and contribute actively to the growth of CIBREST's academic community.

— Proverbs 27:17An affordable monthly stipend will be provided upon publishing at least 7 original peer-reviewed papers in IJBRS and at least 3 in other journals (with or without collaboration).

Beyond the Doctorate
This programme offers opportunities for advanced research, teaching, and professional development in various fields of biblical research studies. Designed for people who wish to pursue further specialisation or advance a unique research project in their chosen fields.
The Research Fellows serve as mentors for younger researchers and contribute to CIBREST's research publications, playing a vital role in building up the next generation of biblical research scholars.
Fellows are awarded a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Biblical Research Studies certificate upon successful completion of their programme requirements.
